L’armée américaine a annoncé qu’un troisième porte-avions était arrivé au Moyen-Orient, alors qu’une trêve fragile est en vigueur avec l’Iran.
Dans un message qui a été diffusé sur X, le Commandement central américain (CENTCOM) a posté une photo montrant l’USS George H.W. Bush naviguant dans l’océan Indien, dans la « zone de responsabilité » du CENTCOM.

Selon l’Institut naval américain, les deux autres porte-avions, l’USS Gerald R. Ford et l’USS Abraham Lincoln, sont respectivement stationnés en mer Rouge et en mer d’Oman.
