L’homme de 48 ans qui a succombé cette nuit au Covid-19, a été identifié. Il s’agit du rabbin Chaim Aharon Torchin, directeur de la yeshiva Or Yitzhak à Bnei Brak.
Torchin laisse derrière lui sa femme et leurs 14 enfants.

L’hôpital Ichilov, où il a été pris en charge, a souligné qu’il ne présentait aucun antécédent médical.
