Netanyahu et Modi échangent leurs voeux pour Diwali

Le Premier ministre Benjamin Netanyahu a souhaité mardi à son homologue indien Narendra Modi « un joyeux Dilawi », alors que la fête des lumières hindoue va commencer cette semaine.

Modi a répondu en remerciant Netanyahu et en annonçant qu’il surprendra les soldats sur la frontière pendant la fête.

Les deux hauts-responsables semblent avoir noué une sincère amitié.

En un an et demi, chacun d’entre eux a trouvé le temps d’effectuer un déplacement dans le pays de l’autre.

Le président Reuven Rivlin, qui est également allé en Inde l’année dernière, a lui aussi transmis ses voeux à son homologue indien Ram Nath Kovind, se distinguant de Netanyahu en écrivant une partie de son message en hindou.
